Foreigners may stay in Korea only within the scope of their granted residence status and period of stay.
Among them, there are certain types of residence visas that allow employment, but residence visas that do not fall under the categories below do not allow employment activities.
(However, this is an exception in cases where a permit for activities other than residence qualification or special employment permit has been obtained.)
