Role Overview
Ourhome, a leading foodservice company in Korea, is seeking a chef to travel across our major institutional dining locations and showcase authentic global cuisine.
This is not a fixed-kitchen role. You will visit key partner sites in major cities across Korea, preparing authentic recipes from your home country, engaging directly with on-site kitchen staff and customers to deliver a vivid, hands-on global dining experience.
Key Responsibilitie
Leading premium pop-up culinary events at institutional dining sites
- Traveling to major cafeteria/dining locations on a rotating basis
- Live cooking and pop-up service for special global menu events at each site
Qualifications
- Visa: Valid F-series visa authorizing employment in Korea (F-2, F-4, F-5, F-6)
- Willingness and ability to travel between across Seoul and major cities in Korea
- Minimum 2 years of culinary experience in dining, hotel, or restaurant settings, either in your home country or in Korea
- Korean language proficiency sufficient for practical, on-site communication with Korean kitchen staff
Preferred Qualifications
- Outgoing personality with enthusiasm for meeting new people and adapting to new environments
- Culinary certification related to your home country's cuisine, or an internationally recognized culinary credential
- Experience working in fine dining restaurants or hotel buffet/banquet kitchens
Employment Conditions
- Employment Type: Contract
- Following a pilot period of site rotation and performance evaluation, conversion to permanent employment or a long-term specialized contract is possible
- Compensation: To be discussed after interview
- Working Hours: 5 days/week (8 hours/day); weekends and public holidays off
