Hello, this is JOBPLOY, a foreign job recruitment platform for all foreign job seekers looking for jobs in Korea.

Jobploy Real Job Interview

Q. How did you first learn about Jobploy?

I stumbled upon this platform while searching online for a job platform for foreigners in Korea. I learned that it offered both online and offline consulting services, and that the hiring manager (Teacher Yeo-ri) would provide direct assistance, which immediately piqued my interest.

Q. What was your first impression when you first entered the site?

It was much easier to use than I expected. I found the multilingual support especially useful. Even an Indonesian speaker like me was able to use the site in my native language. Even though I speak some Korean, I found myself reading important information in Indonesian. I found so much of the information I needed on the Jobploy platform, "Story." I felt strongly that this platform was meticulously designed for international users.

Q. What specific functions did you mainly use?

I used the location filter feature a lot. Since I live in Seoul, I could only see job postings in the city. I also appreciated the ability to filter only those eligible for my visa type, saving me from wasting time filtering out unnecessary postings.

Q. Were there any moments that were difficult or blocked?

To be honest, before I met Jobploy, I had a difficult time. I had no idea how to write a resume tailored to Korean companies, and I had no idea what skills I should highlight. But after meeting Yeori at Jobploy, things changed dramatically. We met in person, and through an interview, she drew out my experience and capabilities, and based on that, she guided my resume. It felt like all the areas I had been uncertain about were finally being sorted out.

Q. On the other hand, what was particularly impressive?

It's not just about "matching me with a job." Initially, I thought I'd be fine as long as I found a job anywhere. Jobploy recommended companies that suited my experience and personality, and they offered me unwavering advice throughout my selection process. It wasn't like they were just "sending me anywhere and done with it." It felt like they were working with me to find a place I could thrive in. Their meticulous attention to detail was truly impressive.

Q. What do you think is the biggest difference compared to other job platforms?

The biggest advantage is the availability of offline consulting. Most platforms require applicants to apply for a job posting on their own, but Jobploy has professional consultants who work with them to develop a strategy. Instead of struggling to write a resume on their own, we collaborated, received feedback, and continually refined it to improve it. For foreigners unfamiliar with the Korean job market, this kind of close support makes a huge difference.

Q. What was the final result?

I currently work at a company called Pepper & Salt . It's a company focused on IP, VMD, and MICE, and I collaborate with characters and YouTubers to create merchandise and plan pop-up events. I wanted to work directly, meeting new people, and getting things done, rather than just sitting at a desk. This is exactly the kind of job I was looking for. I think it was possible because Jobploy accurately identified my experience and personality and matched me with this company.
