In accordance with Article 16 of the Foreigners Treatment Act (Improvement of Treatment of Professional Foreign Workers), the central government conducts demand surveys and consultations every year to attract excellent professionals. As a result, the E7 visa occupation code was created and the status of introduced occupations is identified. In order to calculate, manage, and analyze statistics on the number of employees introduced, we create and manage job codes.


In the Korean Standard Occupational Classification, numbers are assigned , with three digits indicating a subcategory, four digits indicating a detailed classification, and five digits indicating a detailed classification .

Additionally, there are occupations with 'S' in front of the number, which are newly separated or newly established occupations, and are placed before the codes of similar occupations.
