What is the K-Dream Foreigner Support Center?
This is an integrated support platform for foreign policy promoted by Gyeongsangbuk-do Province.
We are playing a role in helping talented foreigners settle in areas at risk of population decline in Gyeongbuk and contribute to regional development.
✔ Main Services
- Visa Support : Support for foreigners' stay through regionally specialized visas such as F2R visas.
- Employment Links : Providing job opportunities through matching job seekers with local businesses, job fairs, and database building.
- Settlement and Social Integration Support : Assisting foreigners in settling down smoothly and integrating into society with Koreans through counseling, Korean language education, and cultural experience programs.
Recently, the K-Dream Foreigner Support Center established the nation's first community for foreigners holding F2R visas.
The F2R visa is issued to settle talented foreigners in areas with rapidly declining populations , and allows them to reside in Korea for 5 years.
The workshop was held at the Gyeongju Kolon Hotel in December 2024, and was attended by approximately 70 foreigners living in nine cities and counties in Gyeongbuk. It was hoped that this workshop would address the difficulties faced by foreigners living in rural areas and provide Korean language education and settlement support, enabling them to live a stable life in Korea.
The K-Dream Foreigner Support Center provides systematic services across various areas, including visa assistance, job placement, and settlement support . This F2R Visa Community Building Workshop is a prime example of this tangible achievement. Each local government is making significant efforts to support the settlement of foreigners in Korea, and this support is expected to contribute to social integration in the long term.
If you are a foreigner living in the Gyeongbuk region, please pay attention to the various support services on this site and be sure to receive help. 😊
