"From study abroad to employment,
from employment to settlement"
From recruiting international students through pre-training, part-time work, agricultural/industrial employment, to local settlement — a JOBPLOY-based integrated work-learn platform that solves farm labor shortages during peak seasons by connecting them with international students. Beyond simply providing labor, it is a sustainable rural workforce model built together by local communities, universities, and specialized institutions.
Seongju, with its high proportion of facility agriculture centered on Korean melons, faces securing labor as a key challenge every peak farming season. Meanwhile, international students have mainly worked short-term part-time jobs and have failed to settle stably.
