Jobploy works with universities to support successful careers and successful settlement in Korea. To address the labor shortage in industrial settings and help outstanding international students settle into Korea, we are recruiting participants for the "Work-Study" program, which provides government funding for tuition.
This announcement is for graduating international students with a D-10 visa currently residing in Korea. Foreign residents are not eligible to apply.
01. Business Overview
This is a government-led program that selects international students and provides one-stop support for matching with excellent companies, job training, and E-7 visa issuance.
Host: Government ministries and educational institutions
Purpose: Strengthening the professional capabilities of international students and supporting conversion to E-7-1 visas.
02. Recruitment Target
Visa Status: D-10 (Job Seeker Visa) holder, international student residing in Korea
Academic qualifications: Graduates of universities (bachelor's degree) and technical colleges (associate bachelor's degree) in Korea
Language skills: TOPIK level 5 or higher (preference given to those with excellent skills)
Objective: Those who wish to find employment and settle down in a Korean company with an E-7-1 professional visa.
03. Program Details
This course combines university education (6 months) and corporate internship (6 months).
STEP 1: Job and Korean language training (6 months)
Linked to university curriculum, offline classes once a week (total 253 hours)
STEP 2: Corporate Training and Internship (6 months)
Intern at a company that can issue an E-7-1 visa while on a D-10 visa
Working less than 40 hours per week / Paying more than the minimum wage per hour
STEP 3: Conversion to full-time employment and E-7 visa issuance
Early application possible: E-7 visa application possible immediately upon confirmation of employment starting from the 4th month of training period.

This program targets visa issuance for the following two professional occupations:

Design drawing creation and modification, CAD utilization practice

Mechanical/electrical/electronic equipment system design and component design (using CAD/CAM)

Fully free tuition: zero training costs through government support
Participation allowance: 100,000 won per month in separate tuition fees during the training period
