The Ministry of Justice has officially announced the wage requirements for the Special Activities (E-7) visa for 2026.
These standards will apply to E-7 visa issuance and changes/extensions of stay from February 1, 2026, to December 31, 2026.
2026 E-7 Visa Wage Requirements (Annual Salary)

※ Existing wage requirements apply until January 31, 2026.
Note (Important)
- This wage requirement applies equally to new E-7 issuances as well as changes to residency status and extensions .
- If the annual salary presented by the company falls below the standard in the employment contract: Visa issuance, change/extension of residence status may be denied.
- Exceptions may apply to occupations for which the Minister of Justice has established separate standards for reasons such as job protection.
