Hello! This is Huong.😊

Today, I'd like to talk about ' choosing a career' .^^

Indeed! What kind of job would be good for working in Korea?

Understanding Korean society well can help us more effectively find opportunities that are right for us!

For example, Korea is currently experiencing an aging society at a very rapid pace.

The rapid increase in the elderly population is affecting various aspects of Korean society.

As the influx of foreigners continues to increase, the multicultural society is accelerating.

Amidst these changes, career fields such as SNS global marketer, nursing assistant, caregiver, and hospital coordinator are bound to receive active attention!

I'm actually a nursing assistant, so I'm going to talk about this!

✅ What is a nursing assistant?

While nurses mainly work in large hospitals, nursing assistants assist nurses in small hospitals such as clinics.

Helps the hospital run smoothly through patient care, medical support, and administrative tasks.

✅ Obtain a nursing assistant license

To obtain a license, you must complete at least 740 hours of theoretical education and at least 780 hours of practical education at a nursing school in each region.

It took me about a year!

Since this is a job that requires understanding medical terminology and communicating effectively, Korean language skills are obviously essential, right?! 😉

I was able to learn not only medical knowledge but also counseling skills and customer service.

Despite working hard in practice

There were some difficult parts because each hospital had a different method.

If you have any difficulties, be sure to ask for help from people around you.

It's better to do things accurately and calmly rather than rushing.

It is very important to learn step by step and build your skills!

I have always been a meticulous and thorough person.

I enjoyed dealing with people and found it rewarding to help others!

There are many difficult aspects, but I also thought it was a good fit for my aptitude.

I chose this job because I thought it would be a necessary and important job even in Korea's current situation.

As I mentioned earlier, the influx of foreigners into Korea is increasing.

The role of healthcare professionals with foreign language skills is becoming increasingly important.

If you have a nursing assistant license, you will not have much difficulty finding a job.

You will be even more competitive if you have communication skills, especially for multicultural patients!

I got a job at a hospital through Jobploy and am still working there!

Thanks to that connection, I was able to post every Wednesday! Haha

If you are also wondering which job to choose,

Think about areas where you can best utilize your strengths!

When choosing a job in Korea as a foreigner, think about the field you are good at and think it will be the most advantageous.

There are fields where you can effectively utilize your foreign language skills along with global experience!

Translation and interpretation specialists, foreign language instructors, and cultural instructors are all fields in which foreigners can demonstrate their great strengths!

So, let's talk about how to choose a career!

I hope many foreigners make wise choices and find fulfilling work! 💪

See you next time~ 👋
