Guide to Living and Farming in Korea for Seasonal Workers (E8 Visa) - Available in 9 Languages⭐

📌What is a seasonal worker (E-8)?

This visa allows for the short-term employment of foreign workers during specific seasons when there is a high demand for manpower in the agriculture and fisheries sectors.

This visa is a system introduced by the Korean government to address the seasonal labor shortage in rural areas.

The maximum period of stay is 5 months , and once the contract expires after that period, you must return to your home country .

Since this is a short-term stay visa, the employer provides housing and basic living facilities, and the local government manages and supervises these.

For foreign workers working as seasonal workers (E-8) at Hi-Korea, we have a guide to living and farming in Korea translated into 9 languages!
