GB Rice Co., Ltd. is an agro-food manufacturing company established on June 7, 2021, with its production base located in the Cheongri General Industrial Complex in Sangju-si, Gyeongsangbuk-do. The company produces healthy rice foods such as nurungji (scorched rice) and rice noodles under its own brand 'Hwangsilmiga'.

Business Areas

• Production of Various Types of Nurungji: Starting with GABA nurungji, we produce various types of nurungji using healthy ingredients such as white rice, brown rice, glutinous rice, barley, and cordyceps. These products pursue both traditional taste and health.
• Production of Rice Noodles, Tteokguk, and Tteokbokki: We primarily produce rice noodles, as well as various rice-based foods such as tteokguk (rice cake soup) and tteokbokki (spicy stir-fried rice cakes), and through this, we are researching ways to promote Korean flavors globally. We focus on developing traditional Korean foods that suit the palates of people worldwide.

Products

• Hwangsilmiga Nurungji: This nurungji is made by gelatinizing rice starch without cooking rice, using only 100% domestic rice. It is characterized by being easily digestible and having a long-lasting savory aroma. It is pan-fried on a brass pan to reproduce the taste enjoyed in royal courts, making it even more delicious.
• Hwangsilmiga Rice Noodles: These are instant rice noodles with a high rice flour content, offering a convenient and healthy rice food option. Along with nurungji, they are one of GB Rice's main products, introduced to the global market with the taste of Korea.

• Technological Prowess and Patents: We have registered patents for 'Nurungji High in Fiber Using Rice Bran and Manufacturing Method' (2020) and 'Nurungji Using GABA Rice and Manufacturing Method' (2019), recognizing our technological capabilities.
