VATECH is a South Korean medical device manufacturing company that researches, develops, and manufactures X-ray medical device systems. Vatech is the first company in Korea to develop and manufacture digital dental X-rays. In 2005, it sparked a boom in CT adoption in the global dental market by developing the world's first '3-in-1' X-ray system capable of simultaneous panoramic, cephalometric, and CT imaging. It changed the paradigm of dental diagnosis through its 'Low-Dose High-Resolution Green CT,' which obtains clear images while significantly reducing radiation exposure, and in 2016, it became the first in the world to mass-produce medical devices incorporating new carbon nanotube (CNT) technology. By independently developing core X-ray components—such as detectors, generators, and software—and internalizing the technology, Vatech is recognized for its technological prowess not only domestically but also internationally.

Dental Business Division: We primarily engage in the dental imaging business, including dental intraoral X-ray imaging products (oral sensors), dental 2D digital X-ray imaging products (Panoramic, Panoramic-cephalometric), dental 3D digital CT imaging products (CBCT), dental treatment intraoral scanner products (3D oral scanners), and dental treatment materials (zirconia discs).

Medical CT Field: We expanded our technology into the medical CT field by launching the Smart M, a compact mobile CT specializing in pneumonia diagnosis, in 2020.
